About Libby

I am a licensed Physical Therapist and Doctor of Physical Therapy who has been teaching yoga since 2005. I love how this combination allows me to blend biomechanics with a commitment to the inner experience of yoga.

My approach is to view the person as a forest. The body is one component of the human experience, and it is impacted by all the others. In the same way, effective treatment of the body requires understanding how all of its parts work together for integrated function.

I draw most of my Yoga inspiration from the tradition of Desikachar, or the viniyoga lineage. I was fortunate to study at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in 2008 and have immersed myself in this tradition ever since.
